Warden: "Can't do that," -tries again-
Warden: "Are you daft?" -tries again-
Warden: "Do you want me to get a ladder so you can get off my back?" -tries-
Me: Babe, it's locked you. You need a rogue
Hubby: I want the goodies!!!
Me ...

I HATE when I can't get loot! I know in my heart that it's probably just another pair of torn trousers, but I NEED to have iiitΒ Β

HA, it's just as bad when the chest becomes bugged and you can't pick it even on a rogue. =/ I had Zevran and Leliana once in my party, don't remember why but I thought some banter would be nice. xD Well.. deep roads came along and well.. I swear they did it on purpose to drive me up the wall. xD >.> Totally was my own fault for bringing three rogues into the deep roads.. but! Anyone watching me laughed their ass off. ._.Β

lol Every time I run into a locked chest it's "dammit I should have rolled a rogue" but then I remember I enjoy melting faces as a mage XD

XDD I DO THIS ALL THE FREAKING TIME!!! "Insufficient skill"? Please. I took down an archdemon, I can smash a freaking chest! But fireballs don't do anything against it--I've tried

EXACTLY! Plus, It's your fortress! So, technically, the loot belongs to you!

DAO was actually the 1st game ever where I think a properly "designed" and played Rogue is more powerful in combat than a Warrior. Once you have Lethality and can backstab with with high speed your DPS outclasses a Warrior by quite a bit.
Very funny comic nonetheless.

I agree locks fail. Rogues are not that powerful and to need to have them in your party just to pick locks is annoying. Not to mention you need to waste 5 abilities so they can open complex chests. It's even worse in DA2 because they need like 50 cunning to open complex chests and I never made it past 25 something because then you need to sacrifice points in dexterity and constitution and they're too weak in combat >.> .
LIFE IS CRUEL.

Yup, that is the most annoying thing about both games. It can be a cardboard-box with a lock - you can't get it open by any other means than lock-picking, and if you want what's inside, you're forced to take a rogue with you.
Yay for the lock-bash-mod!

There is a good dagger and an amulet in one of the locked chests in the circle tower - and I could never get Leliana's skill high enough to open it. The first time I ever saw these things was when I finally had lock-bash installed.
Or the maps in Arl Eamon's castle - they are in locked chests (which is stupid, none of the other gifts are) and if you're not playing a rogue, there's no way you can get them, because they usually spawn after the Landsmeet, and when you return to Redcliffe your character goes into camp-mode (aka they are alone)...

And it really doesn't make sense that only rogues can open locks... I think it should be in the skill area (like charm, and traps, and stuff)
