and I don't remember I did this a very long time ago, I just got blue prints from somewhere on the net and used them. It probably is early 80s.

Hmm...you sure it's not a T-72? Back then, a lot of folks in the US thought the T-80 was a variant of the T-72, or vice versa, and not all blueprints were corrected to reflect that.
Some of the features look incorrect. Of course, that's not a reflection on the quality of the render or the rendering artist.

okay this looks really great...it has many details. this may sound really stupid, but how did you do this? i have no idea how these types of things are designed.

After looking at this render ... I think what needs fixing is the front wheel armour (eg. the armour above the front wheels). It doesn't look rounded and the little overhanging part isn't there.

Awesome, man. I have a friend in Serbia who commands.. I think it's T-34s (badaass) and sometimes the sucky T-20s that can't even survive an rpg.

But I think serbia uses pretty much the same equipment as Russia. Serbia probably would use T72's and T80's and T90's.
T34's are way outdated, they were produced in 1934 and were used by Russia in WWII (don't get me wrong though, they were the best tanks of their day)

Yeah, I know they get all the hand-me-downs(he's Russian originally, moved to Serbia with parents who were killed in a NATO bombing, and he's now in the FFL Serb defense force), but he and some of his old crew/friends repair and work on tanks. The T-34 he commands is restored, customized, and outfitted with like five 13-inch speakers that they blare stuff like techno-industrial, ie: Rammstein on. He says it scares the shit out of the muslims especially. I about died laughing when I heard that. Imagine a tank blaring Rammstein while ethnically "cleansing" an entire neighborhood. The reason they got away with that is because their equipment inspector no longer made rounds to their area. He's trained as a frontline officer, but he commands tanks on border patrol in the Balkans now, though. Killing suicidal rebels in Kosovo and even Bosnia for a little while he said.
He's not very artistically inclined, and not on devArt, sorry.

I know what you mean when you ask that question - afterall, it's a tank. But I've seen tanks on this community that's over 200 000 polys..and it looks the same as yours.
