I joined this site a long time ago, but left for several years. I'm now in the army working for US SOCOM in Afghanistan, but during my down time I might post some things here. My old stuff is mostly pretty embarrassing.Turns out it's hot outside in Afghanistan, and since I'm in a small remote firebase in the middle of the desert, there's not much to do on downtime except BS on my laptop. Our server is seriously restricted by websense, but deviantart works, so I'd more than welcome some back and forth comment correspondence. Thanks.
Also thanks to my beautiful wife Jody for her love, support, and awesome care packages. Love you hun.
On a sidenote, I'm usually respectful but can be rough around the edges so just keep in mind that I live in a combat zone and consider the source. Besides, one of the things I risk my ass for is freedom of speech. Also, if you don't get a response from me in a while, I've probably been killed. Not a big deal, still, thanks for checking out my page. (:

Yes, mines and IEDs suck, we've lost a couple good guys from them. Even the local children step on them around their villages, it's really horrible.

I don't know of any relatives that are still in France, but I would love to see more of Europe one day! I'm from the east coast of the US, just don't like to give too much info on this site because it's public, and in the military you have to be careful with posting personal info.
