I'm just going with the idea that this will be my submission to the latest * Spaceartists pack. Programs used are Photoshop 7 and a teensie weensie bit o' Terragen. I'm getting closer and closer to creating entirely my own deviations (ie. in regards to textures etc.) so definitely feel good about that. The bottom section was a blend of photos I took mixed with small amounts of terragen here and there (the island which I manip'd in, the texture of the water). I painted the upper clouds and then mixed in some small pics of mine to add the finishing touches...I won't even get into detail with the galaxy ^^.

one thing though, like alyn already said is : the cloud is a bit too flat and it messes up the perspective as a whole o.O
Then again i'm just so. . . awestruck (dumbstruck) by it that it doesn't matter and Would by it as a print if i could afford it

I like this, the idea is splendid and the sky is awesome. Colours are delightfully vibrant. Now, whilst I can appreciate the pseudo symmetry effect near the bottom, the only thing I find weird (that said, not too distracting) is how the dark cloud is so flat at the bottom. It works, but it just seems a little tooooo linear. Either way, won't stop me giving you a fav. Originality and good technique are most definitely present here - we need more of this

You are getting better
much better, as soon as i saw you i went to your old gallery and saw that your works are simply a timeline of you getting better. And even though this might hadnt taken as long as a piece like 'and time slipped away' i truely believe it is better. I love this. It inspired me, and i believe that this is better than over 95% of even alynβs works, if not better
