Happy Birthday Minako!!!I decided pretty much last minute (i.e. today) to enter *DarkZephyrMoon 's Sailor Venus contest. This is for the redesign category. Just fun; felt like drawing Venus since it is her birthday, after all.
I kinda see this as a form for Venus somewhere around the Silver Millennium. Mostly, I just wanted to design a (somewhat) more practical fuku. And armor's fun to draw.
There needs to be more art of Venus with the Seiken.

Thanks! It'd be a fun one. I'd probably end up doing a Jupiter or Pluto version since I already plan on doing at least one of their forms in the future. Actually, a Jupiter version would be pretty badass to do with say, my husband doing a more armored version of Nephlite.

Thank you! Yeah, I think it works for her. Plus the whole fact that she had the Holy Sword for a bit in the manga. I do wish Naoko did more with that. 'Cause swords are awesome.
