FINALLY! I've restarted this *literally* five times now. But I do declare it to be finished!
This is my half of a trade with the lovely and VERY very skilled =IrisDesert ! I was *thrilled* when she said that she wanted to do an art trade with me my lord. I picked her handsome boy Damyan, because I really like his overall demeanor and his floof. I think he and Denali would get along really well and be old and beard-y together <__<.
I got a really good composition critique from ~aboveClouds in the early stages of this, and I think that really helped it! Thank you, Pash!
Aaaaand yes what else I don't know. I'm glad this is finally done. It's completely different from when I started it all those times, and it took me forever. I'm sorry it's late! But I hope you like it anyway, friend!

I've always loved your use of colors and the amount of detail you put into your backgrounds.
The detail in the snow covered trees and Damyan's mane is just phenomenal, and then the
soft highlights ahhh<3 I could totally see Damyan up at the break if dawn just watching the
light flood in and basking in the warm glow, or dusk too, either or!
Haha! Damyan and Denali would get along pretty well, I'd think too ;D

AHHH omg I'm SO super glad you like it! After you drew me that freaking MASTERPIECE for your half, I really wanted my part to look even a *fraction* as awesome, which is one of the reasons why I restarted so many times <__<.
And YES wintery sunrises are the best! I totally picture Damyan to be a morning guy, up with the sun and appreciating the frost and all that. He's so lovely too.
