HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY I DREW A THING. .... actually it's taken me a few weeks but ANYWAY yes this is my #ShinXChange piece for the lovely =Shinerai herself! I was assigned Nailmus, who is pretty and gorgeous but MAN I can't draw feathered dragons to save my life, so this was quite the challenge lolol. I tried adding his scales in, but it made that whole area a little convoluted with the hordes of snowy pines, so I hope that's okay!I know that Avians/Ilumarae live on a big green field kind of thing with pretty blue skies, but I break out in hives when I draw green fields and blue skies, so I decided to go the "Nailmus-spying-on-the-common-folk-downstairs" route, so he's creeping on some little mountain village with purple mountains and yay orange and purple. EVERYWHERE
ANYWAY I need to get out of my house and move my legs but SHIN I do hope you like it!

Oh gosh beb, this is just so wonderful! I enjoyed the little Tumblr Saga, haha. It was interesting to see what turns the picture took and where, to come to this finished piece! I just love the color palette your chose, and the scene of a snowy pine forest village burning! It really is a peaceful inferno if there ever could be such a thing. The environment is so cool and crisp like unsettled snow. And I love the way Nailly is perched on that pine; his sturdy weight pushing the top over

Awww Shinerai! I'm so flattered that you like this! I simultaneously adore and am somewhat intimidated by Nailmus' gorgeous design, so I tried to play with colors instead of relying on my sort of sub-par drawing skills to make him look pretty <__<. I'm not sure anything will ever be worth the randomly INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT CLOUDS at the top. They're so non-offensive and ethereal, how did that even happen?? GAH. BUT OMG THANK YOU. We need to make a being with my love of backgrounds and your amazing abilities to make wings and anatomy and we'd be UNSTOPPABLE
