I decided to attack Eri-chan's artwork again. This is her lineart..you can tellUm..yeah..Opencanvas..dunno how long
I'm not resizing it..it looses something when you do. be prepared, it's rather big.

Absolutely beautiful job! I'm sure that Erithe really loves this image! The way that you handled this particular piece is wonderful! The subtle colors and soft shading is really attractive. The way that you handled Erithe's hair is incredible, the soft shifts of color to represent seperate strands of hair is absolutely gorgous! Her eyes are wonderful, so realistic and they portray so much emotion! The way that you handled the background really pulls this piece together. The swirling effect that is coming out of the portal and the little sparkles of light that flow out to light the rest of the drawing are beautifully done. Congradulations you two for making the Daily Favorites!

That is amazing! I love the way her hair almost looks like liquid. The pale skin and golden eyes are great, also. I'm not sure exactly what the background is, but whatever that may be, it's fitting. Great piece!

Oh. My. God
I remembered very well Eri's version of this picture... I'm not surprised you choose it, in fact, it's really beautiful. So now, what do I see? You did a wonderful job with the colors (okay, I *have* to try OC now!). I was also surprised by the way the full-sized pic looks so much more luminous than the thumbnail... guess it's sort of normal, but still, it's *one* more surprise with this picture.
The light and details in her eyes makes them very present, very penetrating. Nice placing of shadings, and the color of her hair is... well-chosen, should I say? There's a little something in this panels of red hues that... marry very well with the others colors in the picture (it's hard to explain, in fact...). The source of light in the background (I always thought it was a sort of mirror, or the entrance to another world?) is quite fascinating to look at, there seems to be a slight spiralling in it, attracting the eye without the watcher noticing it at first., and the tiny particles of light dancing in the whole pic gives the atmosphere a specific feeling... a little unreal, maybe, more dreamy?
You did a great job with the picture, really. Oh, and grats on the DD, by the way

holy shiite!! if I already didn't know I had a thing for redheads I would have found out by looking at this picture...OMG! the hair! the eyes! They stand out so much.....I also like the contrast between the body and the background, just enough that they slide into each other not something so hugely diverse that eyes are taken away from the figure
