Thanks to all for coming to my site. All 155 watchers for stalking me and giving me the confidence boost. On all comments good and bad 'cause y'know..those bad ones give me something to giggle about.
To all the wonderful friends I've made and the people I've met...yeeeeee Deviantart has made me push harder than ever before to work on my art...and that's meant the world to me.
This picture was a 14"X17" bristolboard crowquill inked piece that I took a digital photo of then started messing around in opencavas.
I'm quite happy with the result..

Originally I was going to dedicate it to all of you but now I feel I must also dedicate it to my savannah monitor lizard, Callista. Recently she got a horrible infection from who knows where and I had to medicate her because she got really sick. Tonight when I came home I found that the medicine and care just wasn't enough. She's passed onto another world and I hope she's enjoying her crickets and mice there...
;_;
geh..trying to fix the colour on it..it's a lot brighter on this monitor than the one I drew it on. And then with other people it looks black X_x

The way the lines of the fabric and hair curve along with the background makes the image sort of seem to intertwine with itself, which is SO COOL.
Also, great work with colors, I like how they're not very saturated.

I like the job on the cloth and the background. The shading of the dress gives it somehow very great depth and the use of dark and light parts are very nice.
I can't really say anything bad about this picture, since I couldn't do any better myself... ^^

Oh wow! This is beyond awesome! Something in this picture really calls out to me. It makes me feel completey calm and serene. The gentle flowyness to it is just amazing. I just want to become part of it. Her eyes and hair are gorgeous and the hands are one of my favorite parting in this. It is just such a lovely piece I don't want to stop looking at it. +Faves x1000000000000!

And I'm sorry to hear about your lizzard u_u I had a pet geko and sum skinks once, but Mum told me I was being cruel keeping them and to release them in tha garden - so I did - and then I found bits of them all over tha lawn a day later when tha cats ate them all u_u
