More kiddies! When I did my "Couples" piece for Tod and Vixie I vomited my feelings about The Fox and the Hound there. So if you wanna know how I feel about the film, you can find that piece in my gallery and find out.
I've mentioned this before, but I'll do it again: I blow chunks at drawing animals. By doing all these various animal kiddies and such I've gotten much better.

oh gods, this movie made me cry at the end when i was a kid. i thought it was unfair that they couldn't remain friends.
but you know what, i understand now that disney was just trying to put out an honest message with this movie (not something they do anymore, as they're all about money now): friendships don't always last forever. so enjoy the friendship you have now and remember the good ol' times before it's all gone. and don't take for granted what you have today.
^^ i think that's the message of fox and the hound, in my opinion. still makes me all sappy as heck though...

Naw, they'll always be friends. You know, in spirit. Just because they can't physically be around eachother anymore doesn't mean they can't visit their memories and still feel that friendship.

They say if you draw something 50 times you get good at it. Considering how many hands I've drawn I'm not 100% convinced that it's true but there you go.
And God, this movie. Haven't watched it in years, it ALWAYS makes me cry. You know I had dry eyes in Les Mis but Mrs Tweed abandons Todd in the forest and I'm sitting in a little puddle of tears. And then there's the ending.
This is a cute pic though. I love how you have Todd nomming Copper's ear.

It's probably more a confidence thing then technical improvement, but confidence is a large part of what makes a drawing look good I think.
