Awwwwww, but I so wanted to see where it was going!! That and while I'm continuing my story....I realized that I don't really have a long term goal as far as what missions I want them to go on or what big plot thingys I'm going to do...... Oh well......

I think the main thrust of the story was that the mystery girl from the facility was going to be a government-made, government-controlled superhero. I think the premise was going to be that she's of a watered-down Kryptonian bloodline (something like some Kryptonian(s) lived anonymously on Earth some time in the 19th century or something and procreated and the result is a scattered population among humans with a few drops of Kryptonian blood). So she essentially has the genetic potential to be a Superperson.

The government was interested in controlling their very own superhero, so they kidnapped her, made it look like she died in an accident or something, and performed a medical procedure that turned her superhuman. I think it was maybe lab-grown, epinephrine-producing glands surgically integrated with her body to establish the hormone levels and metabolism necessary to activate and maintain the Kryptonian DNA, which effected the requisite changes on her physiology. She was going to have super strength and flight, but I think some of the other power were going to hurt her or severely tax her body if she used them, since she's genetically inferior to a pure-blood Kryptonian.

She was supposed to be the one surviving subject of the entire project, the name of which was the Igigi Initiative, a reference to Sumerian mythology. The Igigi were younger gods created by to serve the older gods. They eventually rebelled and were replaced by humans. So you can sort of see where the story might go.

There was no real plot beyond establishing the character, though.

Wow, that's pretty well thought out and don't worry my plot doesn't really go beyond establishing my character either. Which is why I'm having some troubles now. It is interesting how it seems like I unintentionally made my character a foil of yours... I'm now really interested in seeing how they would have interacted and gotten along.


Did you get very far in fleshing out her personality? Is she going to remember things from before all the experiments or did they give her false memories?

To be entirely honest, I can't recall what I meant to do about her personality. What she was supposed to be like, I mean. I had never considered that her memories might be false, either. Just that all the tinkering with her body wiped out her older memories, I think.

It's been so long that I haven't thought about the story in a while and this is the one story I don't have a outline for, so I don't know where it was really going.

Oh okay, I write down my characters in a sort of bio (like the one I originally sent you) that way I know at least basically who they are and how to write them, at least at first. I add or remove things as I go along though.


Would you mind if I maybe used her as a character in my story? I do like the idea of a scientific company(that isn't Cadmus) attempting to make their own super hero. I think the vague idea I had as a sort of plot line in my story was that some group of evil villains/scientist was going to learn somehow (I had yet to figure out exactly how) of Emma's existence and her abilities. I figured they would try to use her as some sort of either super weapon or maybe to generate a large amount of power.........I can't really remember now....

I'm usually good about jotting down notes about each character, and I wish I'd done that here.

You're more than welcome to use my character in your story. Is there anything you actually need from me (physical description, personality, etc...) or is that something you'd rather decide yourself in order to ensure that she fits into your plot?

Emma's ability would definitely be a good target for evil corporations. Being able to generate that much energy would be enormously valuable for any number of applications, so your premise makes a lot of sense.

That is exactly what I was thinking, I just haven't gotten all of the specifics down yet.


As far as using your character goes, I'd honestly like to see anything you have on her. Your explanation of her creation and her back story was great, but I'd really love more information about her personality and memories and such. A physical description would be neat as well.
