So I’ve been working more on my personal DoL (Dragons of Literature) project. With more characters from Novik’s Temeraire series. I still think this is a brilliant set of books and if you haven’t read them then you should! They start with ‘His Majesty’s Dragon’.

Here we have Volly! (Full name Volatilus) This Greyling is one of Temeraire’s friends and a messenger for the British.

Volly just jumped into my head one day and demanded to be drawn.

This whole piece is done with fineliner pens; all tone was achieved with hatching and cross hatching; same deal as the others I have done so far.
