I have been pretty busy these few weeks so my time has mostly been enough for quick sketches and doodles. And this is one of them
(But depending on my mood I might do better versions of these in the future.)
So… Love confessions by Sand Siblings… Where do I get these ideas… This time it was because the theme of
the last Naruto movie will be love, so I guess that made some magic happen. And also I wanted to practice expressions. 
I think Temari was pretty obvious, but Kankuro… Let’s just say that I am sick of reading fanfictions where Kankuro is a total flirt.
I think Kankuro would be more of a shy guy, or not used to talk about his feelings. Especially positive ones.
I mean think about the family where he grew up. I bet as a middle child he probably was more of a loner
(and probably bullied because of Gaara being his younger brother etc.) He is indeed more outgoing than
Gaara, but when it comes down to deep feelings, I bet he rather not talk about them.
And I think Gaara wouldn’t use the phrase “I love you, etc.” (At least not very often) I think that he would show
his affection more in protective way. He must be afraid of losing people that are precious to him now that he has found them.
But these are my little headcanons of them so…
Once I have more time in my hands I want to paint awesome splash art of Sand Siblings
(and maybe other characters as well) in League of Legends Style!
Those who aren’t familiar with them I mean something like this:

It would be awesome to get some animation to these splash arts
(but I have never done that, even though I do have access to Adobe After Effects)
I will start from Temari once I can see the official colors of her new design.

First of all, let me tell you that I NEVER post any comments online. I never feel like it, its so much easier to just say nothing and love what you see from the distance. BUT THIS PIECE OF ART....!

I saw it once while being on my smartphone and I freaking loved it, but I didn't saved it. It's been nearly 5 months since and I haven't been able to forget this awesome drawing. I kept on searching and searching and finally... HERE IT IS, HERE I AM! *-*
The euphoria is just too much. Your work is great and just I love it, you captured their personalities completely, in such simplicity and naturality...! It feels like seeing an old friend right in front of you.

Yes I do think Kankuro is a potentially shy and secret person too ...It's annoying to see him just presented like a flirty stupid one (whereas he seems pretty serious most of the time and not as much different from his bro nor sis' => fierce ) :c

It's indeed really annoying, especially since in series he is pretty serious all the time.

Sure he has... he's one of the most normal man of the serie, he is able to laugh and beeing serious in time the situation requires its.. He's not a linear character. He's not the most powerfull... not a dark one neither stupid one, he's not a caricature, he's human who make mistakes but is able to admit and change (that's why I pretty like that character more than Sasuke, Gaara, Naruto or Neji)... but in fiction people tend to make of him a linear dumb caricature this minor appearance of two tree sentences... I make him the central char of my most longer fic' because he's really malleable characters ... I think it s pretty easy to make him acts "in character" XD

He indeed has the best basis to be a good character, too bad he gets so little screentime.
And it's just sad that he is easily forgotten behind his siblings, that's why I try to draw him more.
He needs some attention
What I like most about Kankuro is that he actually cares for his siblings a lot. The whole Rescue Kazekage arc was
awesome (even thought I would have wanted it to be more about the siblings since Kankuro almost died,
it was never really addressed. It makes me mad.)
I would really love to read a fanfic of Kankuro as a main character. Is you fanfic available for reading? Maybe in English?

Unfortunately i'm not as good in english to write an entire fiction in... maybe I should try to traduct it, it would be a good exercise, If I do it I tell you anyway
... but I think that will be hard to read and lot of mistakes... I'm french, you know how french people are basically awful in english. XD
Same here, at the moment ; I really want to draw him. ( If I'd let meself, fangirling I would say : "rrr .. lets give him some attentions *o*" XD) Like hm, redraw him for the last chapters, and change his face-paint. (Oh fuck let's fangirling over Kankuro, poor him faded out behind his bro and sis' 
Yeah it's so bad we didn't se him more... But sometimes I think it's fortunate, cause at least, he doesn"t run the risk to being messed up by Kishimoto (yet studio pierrot don't seem to make him good, they mess his design and drawing him like a tertiary character ...sadly.) anyway we have fictions and our imagination to developing his character.

Well Pierrot has its own little mind o.o But I hope these new fillers will be at least enjoyable.
(I really hope that they don't try to give Gaara any romantic interest. Well, it could be okay if those characters
actually had a personality, but... I don't have my hopes up. They could do lots of episodes of Sand Siblings just being siblings,
then I could die happy xD) And they should give Kankuro more screentime. They made an OVA ed that joked about his unpopularity in the show,
so they should give him more time. Or an actual episode of him! That would be great...
I think Kishimoto makes great side characters, but he kind of messed up his mains.
Especially Sasuke's logic sometimes makes me wonder.

He messed SO much : Sakura, Hinata and Naruto...
Sasuke... a bit ooc with the foreheadpoke and his apologize (he don't have to I think ... He just choose his way Sakura just don't have respected his choices)... but anyway it was a brotherly behavior that underline a reject of romantic feelings (that he said he don't understand anyway)... even when itachi done this to sasuke as child it was to keep a certain distance with him... 'Cause he did known that he can't forever be there for him (due to his anbu duty).
Sakura recover her 12 years behavior... that's a shame. When she was 12 ... it was somewhat "forgivable"... but just wtf ... what her whole cheappuden growing and character développement was for then ?
Hinata ... her caracter is totally spoiled since shhitpuden began anyway... Just able to stuttering : "naruto-kun " and being a busted cute character who love the hero whereas she barely talk to each other don't make her grown... just no she's just being selfish damn stalker ... ignoring her own team... it's a shame... for a kunoichi that weak to not giving any fuck to her team-mate who always are here for her... I'm done with her since the war... damn...
I would have love to see her really grown from her love and became an independant strong women... (same prob with Sakura...) wth is going on in that shonen ? Since it's a manga for child why don't any "friendship" is shown anymore in the end... just fucking plain pairing.
And Naruto he's don't even happy neither... where is his dumb smile ? while his dream of being hokage became reality... why he seems so sad. Is it because he don't really love his wife ? The one who seems happy her cousins died ... damn kishimoto damn editors ... they damned NARUTO XD XD XD

Well, I have read some from Ariel D in Fanfiction.net. She makes nice Sand Sib fics, and some are from Kankuro's Point of view.

Well after the first part of Naruto, I kind of lost hope with Sasuke and he kind of went nuts
when he started to talk about being Hokage and about revolution... For Sakura, I think her lowest point
was to lie to Naruto ( Iguess it was a lie, but there are some confusing scenes here and there...
I guess she thought that she can make Naruto to do anything she wanted?
I'm not sure about Hinata, since there is only a few canon screentime of her in anime or manga.
I just think Naruto is a idiot for not noticing the signs she gives...
I would have lost hope for that guy for sure before shippuden xD
And there is friendships there, I mean like Naruto and Sakura (I guess they are friends still, it wasn't just focused on the Epilogue. I guess they wanted the fanservice of love
to satisfy most of the fans. (Which in some parts it was done poorly)
In a way think Sakura is independent strong women since she is basically raising her daughter alone and doesn't cry about it.
The most independent thing I think people can do is to follow their dreams and achieve them. For some women it is love or acceptance.
Should there be more female characters that aren't like that? Sure. Is it a bad thing? No if done right.
Hinata sure was kind of a stalker, probably done as a comic relief.
As for she being weak, I have to disagree. I think she is one of the strongest among her age group of kunoichi, she just doesn't get to do much since she isn't the main heroine.
And I think she proved her real strength and development when she stood against Pain, an opponent she knew could kill her. She achieved what she wanted.
Courage to stand up for what she believed and protect someone she loved. I like her as a character because she reminds me when I was a kid and I guess I could say that I feel for her.
I was someone who didn't stand up for myself, always tried to please people and eventually that got me in all kind of trouble. But I have grown out of it.
But I guess my empathy for Hinata because I see myself in her just proves that
many characters can be good if you have the same kind of ideology xD Of course she could do better in some parts and have some screentime,
but as Kishimoto said, he didn't know how to write female characters. (No luck with males either Imo xD)
I guess Naruto grew up, well he looks old atleast xD And could be all the paper work isn't for him either xD
I don't think Hinata as happy Neji died. She must have be devasted, but the truth of life is to move on
and remember the good memories of people who have past on. At some point, you will be tired of crying. And they do live in a world where you might not come home from work because you died in a mission.
Death was everyday to them (or so they said, ninjas died. Eventhough Konoha is an oddly peaceful Hidden Village if you ask me)
And not that Neji isn't in their minds, I think most biggest problem would have been if they had not visited his grave! I think that shows that she cares about him.
But did Neji's death have meaning? I don't think so.
I think Kishimoto just played roulette of "Who will die to become a martyr for Naruto's sake?" and odds "favored" Neji.
I think it could have been anyone. I think Guy should have died... I like his character but really the whole first part they said that if you open all the chakra gates,
you die. Period. No exceptions. But he lived because Naruto is godlike and almighty I guess.
But yeah, I hope most of the bad decisions in the story development were influenced by some dumbass editor. Sometimes I think
if I should make a chart of things I would have changed in the series xD

I'm still wondering where is Kankuro. If Naruto wiki is right, he will make appeareance.
