I stopped with Naruto a while back...just because it's too drawn out and Kishimoto killed off too many characters and made it into a sappy story. I can't stand it anymore...I liked it until I found out what happened in the latest chapters. And you're right, Sasuke does suck. And Naruto Uzumaki is annoying.

I once liked the show, the first three months it was out, after that... it all went down hill from there.
I just don't like how people think, "OMG THIS IS ANIME! I LOVE THIS SHOW, I CAN'T FIND OTHER ANIME OTHER THAN THIS!!" But really, I concider Naruto, "noob anime." We all have one though, so don't get upset! Mine was Inuyasha. Without Naruto though, the company (I think it's funimation) would not have enough money for other anime and would not have as many shows because they could not pay for them. So to an extent, I do like Naruto, because without it there would not be other anime. It can get annoying yes, those silly narutards, but hey! They are not hurting anyone.
But seriously, the fans can piss me off with their creepy annoying fan crazyness. It is just a show.

LOL! Well ST, I gotta say that I think Naruto is also retarded at times. A ninja wearing orange? It's really ridiculous to me too, but the thing is.... I like Naruto! Hahaha! And the phrase 'Believe it!' is from the American dub. Seriously, watching the episode with English dub is better and it sounds a lot funnier. Never, ever.... EVER watch anime with English dub cuz most of the time... they suck... Not all but a majority of the animes I like was destroyed by English dub. I'm sorry for those who don't think so but I really don't want to hear the dubs. The dubs over here are bad enough.

I used to love the anime(Jap version of course), then around shippuden it got a little annoying and I gave up on watching it.
Now I am just reading it and going "oh god, you've GOT to be kidding me" on every chapter. By now I am just waiting for it to END!!
.....and now the only reason I read it is because I figure "Hey, I've pulled myself into the pit this far, now I have to finish it."

Maybe you hate him because he says "Believe it"? xD. I like to watch Naruto...or I haven't in a long time but still...yeah the bright orange is pretty dumb xD. But it makes him unique and stand out, I think that's the point since he's almost never serious. But when the anime does get serious, it's better. I watch the Japanese version w/ subtitles so I never have to hear him say "Believe it" and when I do it's VERY annoying. xD.
And high five! I hate Sasuke! xD. He's okay sometimes, but yeah he sucks...haha...

I hate the fandom. Not the "Hey, look afunny comic" fandom, but the "OMG OMG OMG I LOVE NARUTO SASUKE IS SEXY GO AWAY SAKURA IM MARRIED TO HIM" fandom. It annoys me. Same with all fandoms for anything.
I used to love it, but stopped reading a while ago. Its like Twilight. Its okay to begin with, then you start talking to people and they just...scare you away.

Who doesn't hate that series by this point? I used to love it way before it was even previewed in America. I used to read the manga when I was in middle school. But then they come up with this crappy dubbed version, and it's...horrible. o^o It really sucks, because Naruto used to be cool until the American TV shows got ahold of it.

I love Naruto, although I respect the opinion of people who don't like it. There are anime that I don't like, and I can understand that they have their own fans too.
You said this in a nice, dignified way, ST, but some of the people who have commented here are being really harsh.

I hear the english dubs suck and the japanese stuff is good. but think about what you just said, ST. They wear orange clothes, but hide in the forest... think about how skilled of a ninja one would have to be to effectively hide in a forest in such an outfit

I think it would be more offensive to your friends that you refer to them as 'Narutards' than you telling them you don't like the show/manga/whatever.
I don't care for the series so I see no reason in disliking it or a fictional character from it.
