Well, I was eating strawberries and I thought this one looked like a heart. Who am I to pass up an opportunity like that?Little darker than usual. I'm expanding my horizons. LOL. To be honest, a couple of my flashes didn't fire and I got this. I liked it so I figured what the hell. It won't be included in the "Pointed" Series because it just doesn't mesh with the tonality of the others but I thought you might enjoy it.

I love your work. I wonder if you put part of the strawberry in bleach or somehow take out part of the color without damaging the fruit. Then stick the syringe in the white or colorless part. Might be a little more dramatic. Just a thought..

really great concept, but I have to admit, I'm really put off by the white to black gradient background, a plain coloured background, maybe a really deep shade of a suitable colour would look fantastic.

I ohgree. the dark lighting is ideal. As Merraton stated it kind of reminds one of superficial growth in fruit to make it appear better which is even more emphasized by the dark lighting.

It looks as if the strawberry is being held there against its will, despite the fact that nothing appears to be touching it. Perhaps it's the lighting that gives it that effect, I'm not sure.
And the liquid in the syringe looks positively spectacular, this piece is impecable. Well done.

I like the solid red of the liquid in the syringe. The "usual" red liquid you use wouldn't have worked here.
So it really feels like the syringe contains the "essence" of the strawberry.
As of the title, I more think it looks like extraction than transfusion, probably because syringe is so full.
And the dark backround and "groundlight" looks interesting too. I hope I'll see some more photos with that, because with the right subject I think that it could become very powerful.

I did leave a comment already, but I just can't get enough of this one. Using it as a wallpaper atm, and every time I open my desktop I take a moment to just look at it and go throught the thoughts that it brings to my mind. Thanks for shooting and sharing this
