Also get on these make-up fx forums [link] [link] and troll like a motherfucker (the latter is nicer to new blood, the former not so much).
If you can track down a copy of this [link] for around twenty bucks I recommend it. Also in the future this [link] is a good book for more advanced work though it reads like stereo instructions.
Any girl that dresses up like the ghost of an incinerated rapist has my respect.
