Great balance, colour and contrast.
But the concept... yeah, it's great, but i don't see how you related this piece to breaching societal norms. By just saying what it is doesn't do a great job of explaining the meaning.
Is the 7-coloured Rubik's Cube meant to represent society? Does the missing white-syringe have a place in the meaning? Are the syringes some icon of rebellion? Am I over-thinking all this? I just see an interesting contrast in the assemblage of items.
Unless! The abnormality and social commentary is crafted by the fact that you just stuck needles into a toy... and the individual viewer is 'society', and when they see that you've drugged up a cube, they're meant to go "what the hell" because you're breaking the unspoken societal norm of Rubik's Cube fair-treatment!
