Description
There's this cool minecraft mod called Origins that lets you choose a species when you start the game, and you best believe ya birb boi's gonna choose the one that lets me fly: the elytrian. I made this near the start of the month but I tweaked the colors a bit now. Some friends even made a semi RP server around this mod and it's been really cool so far!
Here's some of the elytrian lore we've come up with:

The Elytrians originate from the End as a tribe of scavengers. They are naturally drawn to treasure and shiny stuff. Eventually they started looting too much and some clans looted other elytrians and got their wings cut off for treason. When some elytrians suggested stealing from other races those who disagreed split off to live peaceful lives, but those who didn't, stole the end ships (which were originally only for cargo transport) became the End Pirates and eventually started hunting down the peaceful elytrians for revenge and cutting off their wings.

Things escalated and they had to retreat to the overworld, but the pirates chased them there and so very few elytrians remain in general. Some of which lost their wings in evolution because they weren't using them as much since there was no end void.

Dashy here was merely a child when he lived in the End and had to escape, so he doesn't know that the Elytrians have done some pretty nasty stuff. His current goal is to rebuild old elytrian settlements in hopes that word will spread and others like him will find their way back home. And so far, he's had a bit of success! Two fellow elytrians have found the tower he rebuilt. One made his home near that same mountain and helps rebuild, while the other preferred to leave things in the past and go do her own thing.
Of course, Dashy is very nostalgic of his old home so he probably embellished the design a bit more than what it was actually like.
