Both fascinating and creepy! I shudder to think what sometimes goes on in your mind, Brian, lol!
The machinery is something easy to understand but with the look of fleshy pipes and skulls thrown into it, it becomes a rather nightmarish scene. Something you would expect to see out of a horror movie with a mad scientist and his attempt to bring machinery to life. Or one of those sci-fi bio-mechanic hybrid soldier monstrosities that fights for some all powerful organisation or corporation. Mentioning that now has suddenly given me a vision of seeing jet black bio-mechanical clones with the letters "Sony" somewhere on their body!

I must say that I'm often surprised by your art, and not surprised at the same time. Yeah I know, that's quite paradoxical, and not so easy to explain.
All your pictures, as you make and post them, are like a slow descent in your soul, or at least a part of it, and not the brightest one, is it?
This picture makes me think of the game Dead Space, where there is a disturbing (ah aaaah, AGAIN, this word!) mix between sci-fi, metal, modernity and human flesh, distorted bodies... eeww (I'd like a shivering smiley sometimes ^^)

A very interesting observation. I think you just picked up on something my sweet and lovely Lolaa. I love your comments, they make me see things in my own images that were previously just subconscious. Ahhh yes, embrace the darkness, it's less painful on the eyes 
I've never played Dead Space, but I've watched my boys play it and I can definitely see the similarities. (I could have sworn that I've seen the disturbed shivery smiley before, but I can't find it now)
And that version of the song you found was perfect! I've never heard that one before but I listened to it while I looked at the image and it was spot on. That's what I love about you

This descent began (or at least I noticed it) when you started your AIW project. Hell there was even a gate (to what's inside your head?) with your avatar on it! It was like "Enter me, enter meeeeeeee". I entered, and kinda liked what I discovered. Fainted a few times, but I'm still here
