Very eyecatching especially with the blood red though the question that popped into my mind is this: since the light is red why isn't the figure highlighted red, the blue does look nice but I can't help but feel he should have just a couple of red highlights.

It's a beautiful stark image though, the red sun makes me think this must be earth many millenias hence dying slowly from her polluted skies with the sun itself dwindling into nothing. The figure is delightfully ambiguous, at first glance it could be human then you stop and think that it could be anything underneath that all covering outfit.

Certainly a unearthly attractive image of what could be.

I faved your newer version of this a while back, and I gotta say I love the feel of this piece in red, it's more hell-like, with the red circle making his presence very strongly. Cool, dude

wow. this is really spectacular. gorgeous light effects. i have this weird thing for gas masks. they are great.
also, LOVE the colors in conjunction with each other. and the atmosphere of the background. the simple composition really keeps it striking. let's get married, or something.

This, my friend, is *awesome*. Strong background, announcing... death? nightmare? hard times to come... The way the man is chiseled against this red sky makes him stand even more... personnally I think he's nightmarish himself - a half-human, half-mechanical nightmare out of some dead-tech/cyberpunk world...

It does really remind me of Caza's drawings of a few years ago (French artist, used to do lots of cover art for well-known paperback sci-fi books). I'm sure you'd do wonders here with your art as well
