Thank you.
Most of these pictures end up as lucky accidents. I have a habit of taking pictures of most things I make and experiment with. Sometimes something can be made from them.

I'm a bit different on that part, i make the whole thing right then take the photo, if i'm not happy with the outcome then i change it and take the photo again
but wouldn't Spore make a great creepypasta? having slender man or Rake stalking your captain through adventures, it sounds cool to me

I do that as well. Especially when wanting to purposefully create a very scenic shot. In space is crucial to position things in a convincing position. Otherwise they all tilt around the planet, and it loses the immersion.Β
I was writing a creepypasta for Spore not too long ago. Though it took a more original path, not including any already known pasta creatures, thought it deserved it's own unique beasties.

i do the same thing, basically its the gravity of the planet in-game physics could be better, however i dont do very many shots of space, and if i do i make the planet color fully black and remove the atmosphere so it blends in with the sky to get that nice flat look
I would imagine a creature that looks like it was made from parts that don't exist in the editor, and have ability's that not even an expansion pack has, and maybe creepy things like getting strange messages in game

Too right! That's what was more or less planned for the Creepypasta. Very much in the vein of the NES Godzilla Creepypasta by Cosbydaf.

yeah, i only read that one once and didnt even finish it, i think RED was its name?
but yes i think that would be alot more interesting having a foe with unbeatable abilities and unfathomable power, so strong even the strongest captain falls before the might of him

You're on the ball.
I had a variety of different scenarios set for the Captain, who was rather generic and unimpressive, which were completely beyond the scope of what Spore could possibly handle. Really throwing the Captain out of his element. And that creatures and environments would grow steadily more sinister and vile.

great thinking, that sort of reminds me of the BEN drowned creepypasta, The protagonist (Link) is unable to combat against the dark forces of BEN and the envirement and characters became evil and twisted
In a way we think alike when it comes to this stuff

Could never get my head around the Ben creepypasta. See it referenced everywhere, but then I've never really played very much of the Zelda games.Β
Mutuals interests!

i was a fan of Zelda, but only the 2 games (Ocarina of time/majoras mask) that's how i found the creepypasta, but i could make that creepypasta with an emulator of the game (Which i have one) and just slice some clips of glitches and summoning the Idol
i dont blame you for not liking it, it was a little boring

Well I will admit that I have little patience for those kinds of games. But that being said, it's all that frustration that's so appealing to me. I like a good challenge. Binged through the original Tomb Raider games about a year or so back, I was reminded how much the games really shit me, but loved every second. Especially when you have two measly pea shooters, and they throw in a some unfathomable abomination of an enemy.
Oh what's what? You want that secret treasure? Well no, you can't have it. But you can have a Tyrannosaurus.Β

Haha, i know the feeling, i only played the series once and found myself stuck occasionally, still a great game

Great work man.

Cheers dude! It was Surge's original images that got me hooked onto Slenderman a few years back, I have the utmost respect and appreciation of the core of the Slenderman concept, it's where I feel he was his most terrifying and captivating.Β

The Slenderman took Creepypasta's golden days with it, unfortunately.
The Mothman on the other hand... cryptids normally get a far longer legacy than something that's completely made up on the internet.

This is true, the foundations of the myths stand much stronger than what the internet can possibly use against it. For now, anyway.

This. Just... this.
IMO, I think the game "Slender" ruined one of the things that made the Slenderman mythos great in the first place by essentially taking a good part of the mythos, then making it far too generic and simplified, so to speak.

Yep, I definitely agree with that. I was never fully impressed with the game too much either.

Pewdiepie and (mostly) his fanbase made things far worse, EFFECTIVELY killing off, not just the Slenderman Mythos community, but also the Creepypasta community as a whole, the latter of which was already dying when the Jeff the Killer fangirls took over.

Great concepts like Slenderman and some SCPs or Creepypastas deserve a better fate than that, it's almost sad and humiliating. I suppose they live on still, but they sure arent the same as how they started.

The sadder part? Even the trollpasta community seems to be dying lately. Yes. The TROLLPASTA community.

Not to mention, said 'pasta protagonist is also kinda big on the spore community... what with him being incredibly iconic and all.

Yeah, I remember the Sporepedia being flooded with Slender creations, SCP, creepypastas. Some were well made.
God, that's another sad topic, I greatly miss the Spore Community. Was terrible to watch it fall apart and destroy itself the way it did.

More like the entire creepy/trollpasta community's run out of ideas to the point that the last good creepypasta I've read was this one right here:
creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/A_Bβ¦
Spoiler Alert: Guess who the main protagonist is. Here's a hint:
He turned 60 last year and starred in a movie that, while divisive, I personally liked and thought was the best of last year.

Ah Godzilla.
Marble Hornets ended, which I found surprising... but it was bound to happen eventually. They started a new ARG though, not sure how far it will get without the titular Slenderman to entertain the fanbase.Β
EverymanHybrid seems to have died out... same with Tribe Twelve. It's almost sad.
They seem to only carry on now through fan art, and often the fan art that does the least justice.
