Description
I was originally going to submit this for 's "Contribute to a Neo Kaiju" contest, but he told me sombody had already called dibs on the Gryphon. But I had already designed the beasty by the time he told me, so I decided to upload it anyway. My new origin was going to be pretty much the same as in the unmade American Godzilla except that he would be yet another Millenian (the race Orga comes from) that took DNA from various animals instead of Godzilla. And I decided against the probe bats idea from the original.The Gryphon is copyright Tristar, I assume.

nice, the purple highlights are a bit off though. Aren't the tongues supposed to be Ghidorah like?

I thought the purple gave him a more flamboyant design, something the original design lacked, since it seemed too plain. The tongues are just supposed to be snakes, as was in the original description.

Oh, I guess that makes sense. My version of the Gryphon will break away from that plain feeling using quills*, spikes, and horns, as well as some of my own personnal touches

Impressive take on it. It preserves the feline theme, while still appearing chimeric and alien, and still feels very much like a giant monster.
It's probably the best - out of four - designs for the bugger I've yet seen.

thanks but not what i was looking for i remember they had colored models of godzilla which looked alot like the colors of a jurassic park film found that one and a probe bat from the griffin is what im lookin for
