Hey, you went all the way to the back of my gallery! XD; I don't think people bother to do that a lot...
Yeah, I always think it's good to look at my old stuff, especially when I need a little self-esteem boost. And I never regret keeping the old stuff in my gallery, for that reason, and so that people can see the progression. Even though it seems quick, it was still pretty gradual. I mean, I cant find a place to draw a line, and say everything before sucked and everything after is great.
Anyway. I'm talking far too much. Thank you for the compliments.
I should have just said, I'm unemployed! And I don't go to school either. XD So I've always had plenty of free time to practice, and that contributed to the quick improvement.

Actually...you're pretty damn good. Although...even though I love anime...there are very few things that are better than your realistic portraits. They're incredible.

I think you have done this very, very well but the only thing that seems slightly off, is the lightness of the shading in his hair. Isn't he supposed to have black?
You have done particularly well with the nose and eyes though. Very well done.

Yeah, he has black hair... I just didn't want to risk getting huge smudge marks all over like I always manage to do. Even if I put paper over the parts my hand is on, it still happens.
