Never made it to art school lol, I ended up going to CC with my friends. The weird thing is in both my beginning drawing classes theres this one guy from an A.I, and another from Parsons. Crazy stuff.

hey yo, here's the uber late reply. College has been hectic, I actually hit that point where I question if grades matter and whatnot and what's important for my career (should i make it as an illustrator). How do u like college urself? what major are u in?

So far im still not in college, well as far as taking classes and whatnot. Mainly because i don't have enough money to actually go(Financial Aid doesn't cover everything sadly, and its too late to have scholarships kick in). So that's the really really obviously huge dilemma im facing right now. Crap really does suck, and i was looking forward to having some kind of freedom. Not to mention i dont think that just taking art classes at a community college would look good on a resume, and transferring from a CC seems like a pain in the arse. My major is/would illustration.

what do u mean by it wouldn't look good on resume? Do you mean resume for a job as illustrator? cuz all that matters for illustration is portfolio. even if you have a degree from art college, they'll simply say "that's great. so what can you do?"
