Round 1: Selfie Challengeof the BFOI
Finally, after destroying the boulders blocking their path- Vron and Crix reach Squirtle Bay!
By then, it's filled with other trainers getting their own pictures- but Vron is in no rush. Not when she gets to spend more time with Crix.

Haha, I love this picture so much!!! Your style of shading and colouring is one of the best in the comp, it looks amazing! And Vron and Crix's relationship is strongly unique among all the trainers, it's sweet how Vron is constantly trying to encourage him to find some confidence again. Their interactions are really special, and despite a happy hug and tear at the end, my absolute favourite part is that you've still left it open-ended whether or not Crix is okay by the end of the round, to me it's making me crave more. I'm glad their story may still have more to come!
Thank you so much for including Aidan! His inability to position for a selfie compared to the sun is so accurate, and hilariously juicy. I keep coming back to it, (it's just taken me a little bit to work out what I'd say, sorry!)

I wish more people colored digitally like us. I try to convince others, but they're like "Ahahaha, maybe someday!!" >_> (Okay, they don't laugh, it's just to emphasize my point.) Thing is, I know their art would look 10x better colored digitally instead of with crayons/markers/whatever.
IDK, maybe it's me. Maybe I'm just old and don't appreciate traditional methods.

I think it's because I finally realised every character needs to have their own motive in the bg XDD It really livens the piece up XD
It's all personal preference-- I definitely love digital painting- because it makes it feel SO professional and clean- but I'd also KILL to learn how to do beautiful waterpaintings- so -- ;D
But hey- if they practice with crayons- they master traditional mediums- then THE WORLD! XD
Us digital artists make a mistake on paper and we'd lose our minds! XDD haha

True. I can't fault anyone for coloring traditionally. I still have to draw on paper instead of digitally for now (and I don't have the confidence to draw digitally even if I could afford an artists tablet), then I scan and color. I've always thought coloring digitally is soooo much prettier/polished looking is all, but that's me.
