Just a liiiittle star struck by Charizard mega evolution... ;3; So excited! A first gen starter--- how am I going to train my froakie if I'm coo-ing over my Charmander?!Not that I'm complaining- nope nope nope~ ;DDD

Argh...suchs a tough descision for me to make. Get a either get Charmander and go with one of the other Kalos starters or grab a Fenniken so I Finally have a reason to use Bulbasuar.

I'm also getting the same combination. I don't care much about that free Torchic 'cause I never played its gen so it doesn't hold a special place in my heart. Closest thing to a dragon at the beg of 1st gen; had a soft spot for dragons. Froakie's jealous of mega charizard. XD

Aw man, reptiles FTW (HIGH FIVE)! If they also throw in gen 2, I'll love this gen forever. I can revive my beloved Flynt (Charizard) and Crikeydile -later known as Neptune (Feraligatr). Yes, I'm a sucker for names. Colosseum was my first pokemon game. I got the first two gens afterwards from a family friend who had 'em stuffed in a lonesome corner of a drawer. I haven't finished those two due to some kids that I used to visit would let them play on em and save without asking and I wouldn't know how far I've progressed... I gave up after that. >:C

I would too- wow, Crikeydile- so much better than my one - 'Splash'--- it was legitimately the worst name, but it's stuck for YEARS! XDD

Thank goodness for a sibling. I sent my Samurott (Caspian) and a few others over to my bro for safekeeping when I wanted to do the story again in Poke White (I was partly angry and amused how my bro decided to place his volcarona and my leveanny in the daycare. When an egg appeared, he told me it is his OTP now. /facepalm). The many instances where naming a pokemon ends up perfect for the pokemon specifically, and you'd feel amazing. I suppose that the pokemon company wanted to have only one save file because you're the trainer in that game. In a way, that's a personal identity that all trainers of pokemon carry --our "trainer's card". Sort of honor that by only getting one of the versions (most of the time) while my bro gets the other.
