Love this rendition, the mouse king looks a mix of terrifying yet has the cuteness an actual mouse would have.

Every expression is interesting on the Mouseking -- I don't actually know much about this subject to really give a good comment. It must of take a while to animate each head.

I love the Nutcracker story and you have brought it to life beautifully. Your mouse king design is brilliant!

Perhaps a slight variation on a King Rat?

Possibly. E. T. A. Hoffmann had a distinct predilection for the bizzare and probably knew about this phenomenen. The character inΒ Tchaikovskys ballet is sometimes erroneously referred to as a rat king.

Very cool. Your mouseking immediately reminds me of Ravana, the demon king of Lanka, from the Ramayana.

Very interesting concept with the seven-headed mouse king and the brave little tin soldier. And I loved the yellow-violet color scheme!

I love how the mouse king has seven different heads and crowns. It kinda reminds me of different variation of the besat in revelation of the dragon/beast that represent 7 continents, but in nutcracker form. Interesting concept of the water colors with pencils.Β
