Description When I was in Oxford, I stayed with a friend of mine, who is teaching at the St Cross College. As a thank you for his hospitality I did send him this picture.

Adorable! And really well-drawn. So imaginative! I love the way you colored it as well. Such an old-fashioned feel to it - nice!

That is soooo adorable! I love the dripping wax from the candle too (I have lots of candles in my bedroom so I can tell you that it's PERFECT)

Just out of interest, do you use block watercolour or tube watercolour?

great detail in the objects in this piece. My only suggestion would have been to make the lighting in the background more dramatic, to make the candle seem to glow. Otherwise, a neat piece.
