Eeeeee, it's a poro!!Finally finished and all cut out, though this time I forgot to take progress photos, ack. The black outline is cut from 140gsm canson paper, and the rest of it is from layered scraps of paper I've picked up over the years.

I agree, Poro is super duper cute - I made him another tongue layer so he can slot and sit on top of my laptop and watch me as I flail at my screen while I'm playing (would show you but I can't attach images to replies, unfortunately )

Though admittedly, I did the lineart on photoshop beforehand to give me an idea of the scale and lineweight, so it was much easier to get things straightened out afterwards while I was cutting!

Papercutting is almost definitely always going to be my favourite medium to work with - I used to do it a lot more a few years ago too in high school, but took a break and only just recently started up again as well. So far, it's quickly become addictive again!

Yes, definitely! seeing your work really inspires me & brings me the nostalgic feeling of doing my final artwork for my art subject in school XD
getting a few cuts on my fingers, but it was all worth it in the end~
l might spend time doing it again when l have time to buy my own cutting mat and a new pen knife once again. <3
and papercut can really be done beautifully if it's done carefully with patience.
