I'm back!I signed up for a costume design class this semester, and we're going to design and create four costumes for which we have to pick a theme and center them around. I, being the nerd that I am, picked RPG video games! Hehe, I don't even play video games, but I *adore* the character designs for games such as Ragnarok and Final Fantasy X, so I figured I'd go with it.
This is Arden, the quintessential cute happy spunky character. Leave it to me to design that costume first. And I normally don't name the characters that I write, but these are going to be presented in a fashion show type thing, so I figured it was only customary.
Also, I reverted back to colored pencils for this! Whoopie! Even though the finished product would have looked nice with photoshop, it's still nice to go back to the basics. :3

Haha, I MADE her skirt. This was a design for a costuming class, so I had to piece it together and sew the whole shebang. And no, I don't mind! Go for it.

Excellent job! Very active throughout the entire picture. Very vibrant. I like her expression and pose too, it accents a very child-like determendness (sp?). Plus her coustume and detail is absolutely fabulous. It makes me happy!

Bwah! I *love* cosplay, but I haven't done it that much....I went as Haruko from FLCL and Excel from Excel Saga last-last summer (2002) to Anime Expo. A friend of mine dressed up as Hayatt and we entered into the Masquerade!! It was an *insane* amount of fun.
