Oohh....my first excursion into the world of Photoshop! I had never touched the program before this pic, and I'm rather proud of it. I was, however, fairly familiar with the other big Adobe program, Illustrator, so finding my way about PS wasn't so tough. She's just a cute little 60's-mod chick.....what can I say? I love red hair!Her dress is actually based off of a vintage dress I own.....but I like the colors on this version better than the actual thing. It came out rather *summery*. Quite appropriate, ne?

i've gotta repeat what others already said: i'm totally surprised this is your first attempt at coloring in photoshop, it comes off looking damn professional. i can't even imagine having that much of an eye for art.
great color choices, and good use of bold outlines... she really seems to pop out of the screen being set apart like that, but still... you know, classy. no idea who this character is, but i also just gotta dig a fellow redhead.
