Synopsis:
Aging telepath Evil Overlord Xander has traded his youthful dream of joining the US military and using his superpowers to benefit humanity for over-the-hill cynicism, self-imposed exile on his private zoo-for-crazy-people Eynhallow Island, and a serious case of May-December midlife crisis. And technically it's only kidnapping if she tries to leave.

I wonder how Kore got those scars on her back. I don't they were Xander's doing, because they don't look surgical in nature.
And I like the detail of the island inhabitants just going along with the guilds and uniforms without knowing why. There are plenty of times in real life where people go along with traditions they don't understand "because everyone else is doing it".

not Xander's doing, you're right. and going along, yes, especially in the workplace. sign this card, go to company christmas party, etc. to be fair though few companies have such elaborate costume rules as xander's.

Slowly making my way through the archive of this comic... I have to stop reading now, but I'll be back! I just wanted to say that the art is gorgeous, I really love the background but the characters are very nice and original too! On this page, mu favourite things are the skull glasses and the light effects. A bit confused by the story, but I'm sure it will get clearer later
