Description So after beating SoulSilver, I went into withdrawal so I bought HeartGold too ^q^ I'm so nuts for this game. And I'll get the English versions as well. LOL, wonder if I'll end up playing the same game 4 times JUST because I love the Rival too much.

Technically, he has no canon name. Silver/Kamon are fandom names and Silver is also the character from Pokemon Special.

I played the original Crystal, and I thought that the rival was a total jerk. D8 But I'm really happy that they redid the character designs for HHSS too, so now the rival's almost like... a tsundere. -shot- Thanks to your pictures, I'm wishing that they actually became a canon pairing in the game. aaaaa I can't wait for the English release! I think...if you play as the girl...they ARE canon! *shot* And I know, the original GSC rival was kind of a jerk, but they made him so freaking adorable in HGSS so I consider him another person altogether XD Nothing stopping me from shipping him with Kotone even though I do like the old rival with Kris.

I just beat Red in SoulSilver and putting that game on hiatus until I finish HeartGold. Basically after you beat Red, you're already in endgame.

Rival/Kotone is so cute right? But too bad after you play through all their events, there's nothing much to look forward to except his weekly battles, so that's why I'm buying new games and playing all over again...

Oh but Platinum is my second favorite game of all time, overtaken by HGSS recently. Platinum is really really cute too and I also ship lots of pairings from it.

Indeed they are! She's like the girl who gets him out of his bad silent type self to reveal he has a soft inside XD I'll probably do the same thing XD Get SoulSilver then HeartGold, but play at the guy and choose Cyndaquil. Who'd you choose?

Yea it's fun, but I think its because I've played Diamond/Pearl 5 times I've gotten a bit blah. I may just start over Platinum just because once I start over I get into the groove. But I have the item for Darkrai ;.; I don't want to lose it. I wish I put it on my pearl game but I don't really care for the tough looking legends anyways....

Whoops I replied to myself...

I chose Cynda for SS and Totodile for HG (not a grass-typer). And Silver just goes from tsun to dere and finally, you're almost like friends with him XDDD He's really not a silent type though as he talks a lot, he's just really...rebellious? XD I love bad boy and good girl pairings though.

Ah, Diamond bored me until I met Riley and then it was MUST BEAT GAME SO I CAN TAG BATTLE WITH HIM AGAIN. Then I got Platinum and greatly enjoyed all the enhancements.

I did it on purpose...I made him get a chikorita because it's so happy and adorable and it's funny seeing him with one XD (that and I don't really like grass types) For my SoulSilver game I chose Cyndaquil though.

Silver is my favorite Rival too~ in the games it's fun to beat the crap out of him because he's an a-hole... I mostly fan girl him for his Pokemon Adventures (aka Pokemon Special) counterpart.

Oh no no I think HGSS!Silver is much, much cuter than the original. He's kind of a jerk in the beginning, but they added new stuff to make him seem dorky and blockheaded sometimes and it's ADORABLLEEEE. That being said Silver from PokeSpe is really cute as well.

I think my FAVORITE scene with the Rival is the Kimono girls one. Because it truly was brilliant character development, I think he cried at that scene too. And he was dere-dere. Awwwww, I wanted to hug him but he ran away XD;
