I used a Blue Yeti microphone, but there are others that work well (or better lol) and aren't as expensive! If you have a budget I can recommend ones :O (Eek)

Well if you have that budget (and hopefully Amazon Prime) I'd suggest the AT2020: www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-…

It's one of the absolute best USB mics I know of, super well balanced.
