Using Photoshop CC to practice my more realistic painting skills. I had a lot of fun but it took a really long time, and I'm still not completely happy with it but I guess all paintings are going to be a learning curve.
I absolutely adore Eowyn, she's one of my favourite fictional characters. I find that she's a breath of fresh air for me, in the fact that most popular books these days centre around powerful (or potentially powerful) characters who are brought down to nothing but a soppy, one dimensional love story. Yes, Eowyn falls in love with Aragorn, but when her affections are rejected she doesn't mope around for half a book, she gets herself up, goes to war (with Merry, whom everyone else rejects) and then slays a fellbeast and the freaking Witchking, of all creatures. Just another day at work, I guess?
