So, this is my first attempt at realism using a digital program (I'm usually a pencil artist in the realism genre). I did this in maybe 45 minutes? I dunno. I wasn't keeping track
As you can see, I have a looong ways to go, but I think I made a pretty good start...
I really, really want to draw a 'portrait' of Arthur Kirkland, so I'm practicing. I had no reference picture for this and it is no one in particular. Just a girl I drew. I think I got the anatomy of her face wrong...but I can't tell. Please tell me!

Oh, not VERY first attempt. This is just the first time doing it with color in photoshop. I draw pencil portraits all the time.

Well it is very good. You should do more like it! I wish I had the time to draw portraits of people. It's my favorite thing to do...

I could post some of my pencil pieces. I think I only have one up at the moment.
Me, too! I feel very fulfilled after drawing a portrait, while with drawing manga I don't get the same feeling at all afterwards.

That's true. Manga is quite easy to manipulate once you get it down. I think there's just something about drawing real people and realism itself that's so fullfilling. And I would love to see more of your work!
