MAIN QUEST
Now that you've chosen to travel to the plains, you need to decide which direction you're going to go. You are currently situated on the largest Isle, North-West on the map. Which direction will you head to, this determines your story line!

Rhust will be staying on Sidus for a while.
After their short stay in the small meadow, Rhust had given Mysha instructions to lead them further into the forests, in an attempt to get some shading. Summer was in full throttle, beating down it's sunny rays with vigor. It cause the heavy threes to drench the forest in a thick musk of pine. Rhust loved it.

He inhaled the air deeply as they slowly made their way, savoring that summer feel. The trio calmly foraged the brimming undergrowth in peace. The continued sound of their swishing tails almost the only sound they made. Until Mysha broke the silence, "Uuuuugh...This heat." She complained with a stained voice. "Isn't there any place cooler?" She asked out loud, but all three horses knew that question was directed at Rhust. "Be glad we're in the forest, it's a lot worse out there on the plains." He countered, carelessly continuing his grazing. Mysha couldn't argue with that. Growing up on the plains herself, she had to agree that the shading of these pines was making it much more bearable. But not bearable enough.

"I'm sweating my ass off..." The young mare murmured under her breath, and she could hear a faint giggle coming from Daray. Rhust looked up to catch her eyes with a mouthful. "It's summer, what do you expect?" He lazily spoke while munching. "I expect not to melt were I stand. I'm sure our grant, wise lead knows of a better place to swelter then here?" She panned back, pouting her lips like an annoyed child. The young stallion shot her a dark look, but after a moment singed with defeat. "Fine. Lets go." And Daray looked up in surprise as he started moving, shooting Mysha a look before following. Mysha returned her glance with a victorious grin and trotted to the mare's side. "That title always works." She softly whispered to Daray, and the older mare smiled knowingly.

Rhust lead his small band through the thick forests, aiming to find the river north or the island. It would be a calm area where they could rest up, drink and even cool off. The trio continued their trek, while having simple conversations. Rhust broke through the two mare's small talk with, "We're here." Smelling the water on the air, and hearing it's faint rush before it came into view.

The growth of the thick forest abruptly stopped to give way for the white pebbled banks of the river. Rhust waited a moment, eyeing their surroundings, before moving on past the treeline, out into the open. Mysha eagerly passed him with a quick pace to reach the water. Gulping down the liquid to quench her thirst. Both Rhust and Daray followed suit. The water was un-deep, and so clear they could count all the pebbles in the water. Small fish steadily fought the current, before swiftly swimming off.

Rhust had started to treat into the water, his head hovering over the it's surface. Mysha followed carefully, but soon headed in deeper. "It's so cold!" She exclaimed cheerfully. Daray was about to follow the two, but flinched when Mysha started to boldly rake her legs trough the water. The young mare laughed happily as the water jumped up, splashing her belly. She moved in deeper and deeper, before finding a spot to let herself drop.

Loud splashing noises and giggles filled the air as Mysha played in the water like a rampant filly. Rhust shook his head at the sight, when he was joined by Daray at his side. "She's such a goof." He stated, and the black mare beside him let out a breathy laugh.

The three would enjoy the company of the river for the rest of the evening, before the horrendous flies would become to much. Instead of heading back into the forest, Rhust let them towards the mountains again. Knowing that the heat would still be able to reach them there, but the flies would be less in numbers, at the high altitudes.

I'm not too happy with this piece. It's probably because I had no muse or ideas for it in the first place. The while 'water' theme was made up on the spot. For most of my previous pieces/story's, I have them thought out in my head, days prior to making them. But with this, I just had no clue D:
