Which is exactly what he first was. Hank was always played up as a proper Oxymoron of a character in the original Lee / Kirby X-Men stories.

Yeah. If I recall correctly, he played football in high school, until everyone started persecuting him for his mutation. But yeah, his contrasts are what make him so awesome. The sheer brute strength combined with a massive intellect.

Too right. I'd have liked to have seen more of that in First Class, but I can't complain about that (brilliant) film.

It WAS an awesome film. Of course, they royally screwed up the timeline, but I kind of don't even care, because it was so great. lol

Nah, I don't care about an exact translation of the comic's timeline. They're two separate beasts. Really looking forward to a sequel though. Maybe featuring a pre-mind-wiped Logan...
