Description

I hate that stupid 'you can't use this!' stamp icon thing. I like this one. Yes, you can use this art, just credit [link] !

NOOOO! NOT THE SNOW! NOOOOOOOO!

At last it's finally melting, let's hope I'm not tempting fate. Here's a picture inspired by a challenge to paint 'weather' in March. And for me, March is either horrible or worse, it's like weather with ADD.

So here's a painting. I wasn't going to upload it to DeviantArt but I realized I haven't been uploading much...

THIS PICTURE IS UNRESTRICTED STOCK ART--LITERALLY ART. HERE BE THE RULES:
-Download for the full size.
-Use it for whatever, be it on DeviantArt or off, for your webcomic or commercial project or whatever. It's not really commercial quality size, but by all means.

Now, as you see, you can use it for anything. It's not huge and it's not great, and I will take it away if my one rule is not followed:

Credit me to either this DeviantArt account or my webcomic, Between Places . If you use it in such a way that it would be awkward to credit, such as for avatars or signatures or a shirt design, please don't worry about crediting, +fav the picture instead. If you plan on using the picture, it'd be nice if you +faved it anyway.

If you let me know that it was used on DeviantArt, I will fav the picture.

This is a test run just to see how it goes. If it goes all right, I might offer more in the future. ^_^

I know, right? I won't use brushes that require credit because to me it's like crediting individual pencils. So I don't require credit on my brushes either. I'm not in it for the credit, I'm in it just to know people are having fun making art!

If I really cared I wouldn't put my art on the internet.

Most of my backgrounds are available to be used, by the way (since I noticed you commented on one of the backgrounds I had up as stock), I just don't always slap the sticker on'm. If they have the creative commons license they're snaggable, and if you ask first I don't bite, I'm usually willing to share any non-commercial stuff I made. And of course the brushes are all 100% free, no strings attached. I smile a bit when I see someone's used my brushes; I can recognize them a mile away, and I'm just happy they're being appreciated.

Anyway, thanks.

Yay! I'm glad to see you're getting more comments.

You're really one of the most generous people I know. Use this as a background? Really? You just saved someone a lot of time. ^_^

I saw your return: I thought you weren't going to be commenting much anymore. So I admit I'm a bit surprised to see you commenting on something I posted a while ago, seeing as I know you had a lot of other DA friends and I haven't been posting much, if any, art lately.

Just this. Man, I need to post more on DeviantArt. I am getting a few more comments... but probably because most of what I post is gift art/stock art/brushes lately.

And yes. It's free for use as a background! Have fun. I believe art is for sharing, and I find it sad that my occasional 'go ahead, use this!' on crappy, quick pieces of art... is considered generous. I hope I save someone time, though!

I'm not commenting much compared to how I used to, trust me. xD I am reserving comments to when I really like a piece, and most of my comments are short now. Real-life is just kicking my fanny lately. xD

Well, and there's the whole thing about fan art being the most popular on DA for reasons that I'm not sure of.

It's not crappy, and it IS generous! Consider how many artists are too elitist to even make a tutorial for newb artists to learn some techniques. =[

Us wordy people can't escape the long comments. We just make SHORTER ones (ei: not a page long). The comment you just gave me would be considered long by so many. Yeah, I have a job and everything so many of my comments have been carved down to a paragraph. D: And no more thanking everyone who favs my brushes for the fav. o_O No tiime. I sympathize.

And it is crappy and it shouldn't BE generous. It shouldn't be so abnormal for someone to share art. Cynical sulky me here... I'm gonna go make a tutorial. I want to share. That, and I promised someone I'd do a rain tutorial... man, I need to work a couple more days. Ennui's kicking in.

March is weather on ADD, that's awesome! Well, you know what they say, if you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes. It'll change.

Love the snowy stormy sky you have here.

Hi Tiana,
We've added a [link] to your art in the "this week we fell for..." section of our OGHME homesite. Art... which we do like... very much

It captures the instant, those blessed moments when you look up through your window, and the sun casts that "wow" light & shadow atmosphere you already know you'll never ever exactly see the same. And woosh it's gone. Then you grab your cold mug of coffee, take a sip, and just feel elated.

March weather might not be very pleasant, but this is beautiful. At a different resolution it might make a good desktop wallpaper.

+fav ^_^

Aw, I actually don't mind it... but I'm weird and everyone else hates it. Personally, after Feburary, I'm all for gooshy random snowfalls and melting stuff and ice everywhere and... nrgh. I'm so glad the snow is melting. o_______o

Thanks! It's big enough that it might work for some resolutions.

Yea, I prefer the wet weather and stuff to no snow or anything at all, but cold (that's the way it is now - really windy).

I tried setting it as my wallpaper, and it fits beautifully! I didn't actually realize how large it was, as I was going by the res listed on here (800×706) which I realize now is the size of the preview.

Happy Easter, btw.
