Description This was a splash page for Between Places --it only had one speech bubble on it so I figured maybe I'd submit it as it was, instead of as a page. It was well liked, anyway.

Simply stunning, I love the way you balanced the contrast, looks like the white city is overwhelming the little black door and trees (which are very well detailed!).

It's actually got a teeeeny bit of purple in it, but not very much! Thank you very much! Everyone likes the reflection. XD

Hard edged brush set to pressure for opacity, and I used a brick texture and applied that to the brush for the bricky bits. The watercolor effect was unintentional, that's just how it ended up turning out. I just painted it as I normally would paint, and I guess the color scheme just made it look more watercolory than normal.
