This guy has 13 hands and no arms. But... he almost ended up with 14 hands... it's a good thing I double checked *phew* This was pretty fun, cause I knew for this I would have free range to make it as dark as I wanted... although really it didn't turn too creepy at all... I didn't want to have to use a mature filter anyway. I thought drawing the hands would be a struggle, but actually it made me realise that hands are a lot easier for me when I don't have to worry about how they connect to the wrist and arms. Hm. Actually the balloons took longer, cause they had to be smooth or they just looked bad.

Anyway, I'm quite happy with how this turned out. I hope you like it Papa.

Yeah! Hands are just awful... I think that's why I drew them rapidly, trying to get them out of the way... I think I was on a quest to see how many slightly different hand poses I could do, then I went overboard and drew too many xD But I find that hands are a LOT easier when they are detached!! For me one of the hardest things about hands is the way and the angle at which they connect to the wrist and arm >.<

Ohh thanks ;_; I've been wanting to draw some "darker" stuff, but I don't want people to think I'm a creep but, no one seems to mind, so maybe I'll start uploading darker pictures wahahahaha!

That's an interesting point, I think I know what you mean, I find forshortening the arms as well as how they attach a bit tricky.
Nah, I don't think it's creepy, it's cool. ^^ Yes if that's what you find inspiring atm go for it!

Aw fuck I love your creepy artwork!
It catch my eye because it's so dark compared to your usual drawing! And it's neat, that creepy smile and expression... All those hands hanging here xD
Your depth-shading looks so good in this type of dark work, I love it <3 Frankly, I think you over-did yourself with the level of shadows. I'm actually salivating in front of your work ^Q^
I love how all hands are different, and you did them so well! And the stars inside the cloak as well, much more mysterious... Does he have any arms at all? O.O
Bonus points for the eyes floating around, this is very creepy so it's amazing! You should totally draw more creepy stuff, it looks good on you senpaï!
I love the balloons, but I first thought they were glob of blood floating around! Maybe a bit softer shading? ( Except I love how ambiguous this is, between blood and innocent stuff xD ).
This is totally going in my favorite folders. Now!

Thank you Alfy, DA-BFFFS/NGF That's awesome, I'm really happy you like my creepy pictures :0 actually I often feel like drawing dark and creepy things, but… I dunno, I worry that people won’t like it so this was kind of a test to see how people would act if I started to draw some more creepy things, because I got commissioned by someone who asked for something dark. No one seems to mind, so I might start drawing some more dark stuff. Cause I’m always pissed off and I have a toxic personality, I always want to vent by drawing something really fuck up, LOL. 

Thank you Q_Q yeah I copied the character directly from the ref picture I was given, so he has stars in his cloak and no arms XP In the picture I was sent, there were red balloons and floating eyeballs, I wasn’t sure if they were essential, but I added them in anyway to be safe :3  ..yeah, you’re right, the sharp shadows are a bit much on the balloons… I can see it. I think at the time I tried to have the shading on the balloons be softer, but… I can’t fight my instincts?! I ended up doing the sharp shadows anyway, eheheh. Oh thank you… that is such nice praise I tried super hard on the shading cause… I wanted people to be impressed with this *cough* I’m glad you like it!!

And I have taken note of your request for more dark stuff. Because I love you, you’ll probably start seeing more of it xDDDD

The composition is truly awesome, the way the balloons and the hands surround him, as well as the open cloak... very cool 
way to distribute it!!!
The shading is also super cool and coherent and I love the effect when he opens his cloak,
the magic that surrounds his waist, I mean... :·)
True: it's a bit darker than your usual works but it looks seriously good!!! I bet the commissioner is super happy with it >v<

Thank you so much Kai! Wait, did this also get into your special gibberish folder?? How low are your standards!!! Actually, I'm quite proud of this, thank you... QAQ  Yeah, doing the distribution of the hands and balloons was fun... I was prepared to have a lot of trouble with it, but it all came together! Yes, from the ref picture I was sent, the character seemed to have like like... star constellations and jazz on the inside of his cloak... and when I saw that I knew I would be giving that a good amount of focus, because it's cool   ..Generally I DO like dark-themed pictures, but I avoid them a little cause I don't want to freak out or dissuade new friends? But I'm sure no one actually cares X'P  so once in a while I'll probably upload something gory and creepy >:3

Thank you so much! Yes I haven't drawn a lot of balloons in my life.. though... when I was little I used to draw the shines on balloons by drawing a bunch of squares, and at that age I thought I was some kind of artistic genius for doing something so "advanced"... lol...

This is truly dark in a sense, but I get how it feels... And how it looked cool! Reminded me of the events in Bungou Stray Dogs where the prota got locked up in the room with that much hands and killing it...

Thank you!! Yes, I like dark tones as well!! Even though I don't draw them that often... I kinda just do sad depressing stories instead    Uwaaaa I also haven't seen Bungou Stray Dogs, but that is on my to-watch list!! Yeah I like anime that has these kind of dark characters..

You should watch it when you had the time! It's a real nice anime I've seen so far, and... of course, I'm waiting for the season 3 where there would be an evil enigmatic enemy~ xDD But still, Pokemon are still best, in my opinion! (the game, I mean, with Red, not Ashy boy...)

Wow! So many hands on the picture! I am impressed! And their gestures look really good and natural! It was interesting to look over all those hands : - )) You did a great job! The atmosphere looks dark, like in a horror movie, and the collection of red eyes around the character and those hands in the darkness really kick it up a notch. The facial expression is also very well-done and I like the stars under the cloak. It is an unusual and complex design, that is for sure! And you did great!

Ahh thank you, I'm very happy to hear that! Honestly drawing all the hands was kinda fun once I got into it... I wanted to see how many different angles I could do... it was a great challenge, especialy given how hard hands are XD Thank you very much for your nice words, you mentioned many aspects that I put extra care into, such as the face and the tone... so that's a relief!
