I was going to wait and stick this in my next sketch dump, but I figured, eh, what the hell? It'sΒ refined enough; might as well upload it! Besides, I haven't uploaded much of my own stuff
lately. It's been commissions and fan art for the better part of the year, and I'm starting to
miss my fictional children. :>
I've been sketching these two a lot lately, along with the rest of the Pulse cast. After working
on Rebirth for so long, my mind is starting to wander onto my other TCP-related projects. So
have a sad sketch of Desmond and Charlotte I drew to quench my thirst for this prequel while I
continue editing the sequel!

Is there a story or something to read to this?

There will be! The story of these two characters is contained in a prequel novel
set before the main duology (all of which are part of the Calypsis Project series).
However, the woman pictured here (Charlotte) is also featured in the first book. c:

I still stand by telling you to finish and release the sequel before the prequel, but I really want to read about these two. I love all the art you do for them and I'm super excited to feel the pain of their relationship

I'm really excited to write their story. In a way, I think I'm almost more
excited about it than the main duology (though that might change once
I've worked on it as hard and for as long as book's 1 & 2). I'm definitely
going to try and get it out as soon as possible following the release of
Rebirth, though, because I honestly think the best way for people to
read the series would be TCP > Pulse > Rebirth.
And that's because there's a bunch of characters in Pulse that reappear
in Rebirth. Plus, it also gives insight into the Drocain-Nephera / Drocain-
Human / Human-Nephera alliances that were alluded to in the first book,
as a fair chunk of it is told from Ahlaie's and a BSI agent's points of view.
But yeah. I think people will have waited long enough to read the
continuation of the main crew's story that the prequel coming out first
would have simply annoyed them. xD So it is better this way. I do wish
I could write/edit faster whilst maintaining quality, though. Then I could
pump the books out yearly.
