Description Sketch dump! Thought I would throw another one of these together before the new year since the last
one I uploaded was all the way back in June, and a lot of sketches have piled up since then! I also decided
to splash some color on a few of these doodles to fancy them up a bit. c:

I'll explain a couple of these just for the hell of it. The first piece up at the top features Kenon and Jhiral
battling it out in the arena behind their battle training academy during a training session. The academy's
instructor, also Jhiral's father, often pits these two against each other as they are a pretty even match.
Jhiral has incredible speed while Kenon has strength and is frustratingly unpredictable in combat. This is
a picture I need to work on a lot--at least with Kenon. His pose lacks movement compared to Jhiral's,
and I'm not sure what the hell he's doing with his arm. I think I was going to have him holding a shield
or something.

Below that are some colored concepts of female Leh'kin and Drahkori outfits. The two models I decided
to use to show off these outfits are Jhiral Alume and Levian's wife, Vahn Ejon, who can also be seen in
detail for the first time next to these concepts. I have had a helluva time designing her. Only when I
figured out what her daughter looked like did I know how I wanted her to look. Her markings are bound
to change, though, and I'm not sure about the reddish eyes yet.

Then we have some very shiny silhouettes of Kenon and Doramire (who is also the one in the amber
chamber), a bunch of spiny Metamorphosis forms, and my beloved human characters who I seriously have
to draw more! Lance Knoble, Charlotte Chambers, and Allison West. Lance is particularly neglected. West
doesn't count--at least not in the same way, since she's a supporting character and it's the main cast I
should be giving most of the attention to.

Wow, I really love these sketches. They do grant a lot of insight into your world and characters. I'd love to see the top one finished especially. I really enjoy the clothing sketches too. The little sketch below of the drocain on his knees really strongly conveys regret and sorrow. The silhouettes are fantastic, but the one to the left is really great for how dynamic it is.

I know how it is with wanting to give human characters their due and somehow always ending up drawing the aliens. They're just so much fun; one can always sort of equate a human character to people we see in daily life, but the only way to give an idea of the nuances of an alien's appearance is to draw it.

Whoops. Did not intend to respond to this five days late!

Thank you so much! I hope to finish that one soon, too. My goal is to start
working on it again once I've got these last couple of commissions and this
one other personal project out of the way. c: It's been sitting around for a
while now, so it'd be nice to get it done.

And I couldn't agree more! I definitely enjoy drawing my human characters,
but yeah, drawing the aliens is just so much more fun. They're also easier to
draw most of the time too, though that's probably because I don't draw humans
enough for them to be easy. xD
