Absolutely stunning work. I've been following your stuff for a long while and I've always been amazed. One thing I've always wondered, how do you attach/affix the silver bands to the horn? Do you weld the silver solid while around the horn? How would you do that without burning the horn itself?

i make the band separateΒ  after measuring the place were it will be going on the horn then just fitting it in place with a leather mallet and the use an adhesive to afficks Β  it if a drinking hornΒ  and or rivets if a blowing horn .

horn burns at 350+ degrees F

thank you you are patient, carving your ceremonial horn with a dry wall knife was not easy, hope it was sharp that makes it a little less painful!
