I really admire Octadad. I wear aprons too, but as of yet, none of mine have hearts or lace. I think the basic idea is that they're going to start "sharing" Octadad.

As for the other alternate panels, they were simple notes scribbled down on a piece of paper, which given my awful handwriting even I'm having trouble decyfering.
