Jojo: *follows NEd and Guess, though keeping away from Guess only helps a little as Jojo occasionally leans back to look up and take a good look at Guess from behind* .....

Guess: *jawdropping as they reach the ice-cream place* *raises an eyebrow at Ned* Wow...you weren't kidding about the sweetness factor...*giggles* ...this is almost pathetically cute...

[I almost wrote Jojo checking out Guess from behind, but it looked like it meant Jojo was checking out Guess's behind

Guess: *heading inside with a brief grin at ned* *jawdrops as she looks up and sees only about a MILLION ice cream flavors and toppings and style to choose from* *weakly* ....holy mother of who......*gives a sideways glance at jojo* ...you sure you just want vanilla?

Ned: ooh, chocolate fudge, I'd like that... and a scoop of that beezelnut coffee blend, and maybe a scoop of that mint chocolate chip, and ooh! chocolate chip crumble topping! *like a kid in an ice cream store now*
Jojo: *hides behind Guess in embarassment and places a little white hand on her leg*

Ned: We're trying to talk him into joining the band, but for some reason he doesn't want to because his crazy friends are in it. Only Susanna, and she's not in the marching band, but I get his point *sounds defeated at the end of that conversation*

Guess: *swirling around her spoon in her icecream, looking for more chocolate chunks* I always thought band sounded kind of fun...unfortunately, I can play a single note on any instrument to save my life...so I just hung around the art room a lot instead...

Guess: *shrugs at Ned* I don't know- I just wanted to try him ice-cream. *eyes his half-melted banana-split mess and scrunches her nose* And by the way Mcdodd...even if he does prefer vanilla over chocolate, *grins* I think your son might have better taste than you.
