May I ask what HDR is? must be nice having aperture and photoshop you mac user maybe next year i can get a mac. I plan on getting Lightroom soon

HDR is 'high dynamic range', as best as i understand it. basically it's a technique to expand the tonal range of a photo by taking multiple exposures and layering them together digitally. i'm still learning, and by no means am i an authority on it!

i've heard a lot of people making noise about how amazing Lightroom is, and supposedly how badly Aperture sucks... but i disagree and back away slowly; i'm quite happy with Aperture on my G5. maybe they're just angsty because they're using windows.

Hey, good idea for an hdr I like how it's not overdone. It would be neat if there were more lights near the edge of Stanley Park so that the reflections continued across the entire photo (not something you can change of course!). Well done!

yeah i see what you mean about the lights, seems like everyone is noticing the reflections as much as the buildings, but when you're actually there, they're not that prominent...
