The time of taking counsel has come for the Angels of sea and sky. In the shallows out by Impossible Reef, the Guardian Angelfish meet an Angel of the skies, whose comrades patrol the distant skies beyond. A threat rises, and amongst the bright waters and sunlit blue of the open sky, the Angels plan their defence.

This is the follow-up to Impossible Reef I've been going on about - and what an improvement it is. I wanted to move to a lighter environment - vibrant as the original IR picture was, I felt like the backdrop was a little bleak. I had the concept for this picture a while ago - I wanted to combine air and sea because I love the beauty of both. And I also really love the way those wings came out
The silhouette is from a photo of me. I couldn't find any stock in the right pose.
Made in Photoshop 7 with my tablet in about... um, 5 or 6 hours? Wasn't really counting XD
Some stock from ~Stickfishies-Stock was used as reference for my practice skectches, but not directly for the final image.
Next up I want to explore the sky a bit more. Stay tuned

Yeah, I know my lines aren't exactly fantastic. I may go and fix them up sometime, since I always keep my lineart on a separate layer.
