Description I think this one worked. It still doesn't look like Bowie, but it looks like The Goblin King as interpreted by me, and I've made my peace with that.

Well you got his expression, stance down pat, along with his clothes, brilliant. I like the artists interpretation Yowza! Look at all those details, and the background. It doesn't have to look like David as long as it looks like The Goblin King (and not some weird cross-dresser [link] like in manga, but that's just my opinion.) Everyone draws him a bit differently, everyone has their own style and that's what makes things so much more interesting.

Beautiful work...I love the perspective and the use of value. And I have seen a number of totally fantastic Goblin Kings that were not modeled directly on Bowie, but on the artists' own interpretations of the GK -- even Brian Froud's Jareth was not based on Bowie. Your work is lovely.

He may not look like Bowie, but he does more than a fair impression of looking like the Goblin King. ^___^ His expression and stance is marvelous, as well as his placement in the Escher room.

Make his nose narrower and less wide at the nostrils. Bowie has a very sharp narrow nose.

Otherwise you have the feeling down pat! I like it!
