Description
Art trade with *Arsillyd of their awesome dragon character of the same name. I decided to go with a sky theme. . and I made time to finish this today in order to de-stress. I hope you like it!Materials: bristol smooth paper, copics outliners, copics, crayon, gel pen and watercolors.

How long did this take you to do? It looks like you put a lot of effort into this beautiful piece of yours. The feathers were drawn almost flawlessly, with shape and color. Even though the scanner killed the shading, I can still see it. I love the variety of the color blue for the feathers, unless Arsillyd is like that. Great job!
I love how you did details on almost every piece of fur and feather. The shading on the blue chest fur is nicely done, though they can be smudged out a little more. The shading is probably one of my favorite things about this piece. ^^
The gradient for the sky is done well. It looks like it was night, and Arsillyd rose from heaven to make it day. Though skies look a lot smoother in real life, this is pretty good. I think a textured sky looks better for this picture, instead of a smooth one. ^^
My only complaint are the shining lights from Arsillyd's globes. The shine could be a little smoother, and a little more shading into them. Try drawing the shine like sun rays. They could look a little more realistic. Of course, lights are varied, but this is my idea.
Beautiful. Simply amazing. Keep up the hackin' awesome work.

Its so clean..and gosh I love the theme...
It slightly reminded me of a horse when I saw it at first glance,
but even so if it was it would've only added to the beauty overall.

As for the technique, I drew the lines, colored with copics (and over the top with gel pens, colored pencils and crayon) and then applied the watercolor for the background last c:

I am really sorry for the late reply as well! I have a major exam coming up soon so things have been getting scattered.
It is okay that your piece doesn't have a background - I am still willing to trade so long as you want to. I would be happy to have my artwork hung on a wall rather than stuck in a binder where it goes unseen. And I would love to do the same for your piece (and add it to my awesome collection of Awaicu art).
Also, I have one final favor to request. I am hoping to attend an anime convention this year and am putting together a list of prints to sell. Since this is one of my better pieces, I was wondering if I may have permission to sell prints of this piece? I am only asking since Arsillyd is your character and I don't just want to sell prints without permission from you first c:

Well to be honest, I'm a bit... weary about it. I normally never sell the art that contains a character that doesn't belong to me, since I realy didn't like it when I saw a friend of mine selling a picture that contained Arsillyd without asking me first...
But I really do am very pleased that you asked me first about it!
